Ledoyen和Considine扮演一对上世纪70年代末的年轻夫妇，他们前去拜望一个老朋友，由于朋友所娶老婆的原因，其现在居住在巴斯克人地区。不过当他们在森林中发现一个双手极其残缺不全的女孩时，惬意的夏日假期变成了梦魇的开始。他们极力去帮女孩从被锁的家中逃离，但是看护这个女孩的当地村民却要阻止他们这样做，于是一场林中追击展开，相比这些外来访客，他们对林中情形了解得要清楚得多。Ledoyen and Considine play a young married couple at the end of the 1970s, who come to visit a friend (Oldman) who now lives in the Basque region because he has married a woman from there (Sánchez-Gijón). Their tranquil summer turns to horror when they discover a girl with horribly mutilated hands in the forest. They try to help her by taking her away from the home in which she is locked, but the local villagers, who have to protect the girl, start a pursuit in the forest they know much better than the visitors.
