永然（薛凯琪 饰）是一个坚强乐观的女孩，兄长瘫痪后她独立肩负起照顾哥哥与侄女的责任。因为侄女的关系，她结识了台湾叛逆青年卓勤（郭品超 饰），因从小便与母亲缺乏沟通，就算家里还算富裕，卓勤仍选择自立更新，只能以盗窃为生。他在与永然一家相处的过程中感受到了家庭的温暖，他们两人也爱上了彼此。 可是卓勤后来遭到黑道追杀，而永然又被证实患上绝症，两个人面临了巨大的困难。到最后又能否冲破困难呢？23-year-old lady is being mistreated by Fate, with an elder brother always lying in bed because of a fatal hereditary disease and a 6-year old niece to take care. Though they are living in a poor situation, they still manage to support each other with love. One day, a thief runs into their family accidentally and is touched by their love. The thief then makes up his mind to become a guardian angel for them. Later, the young lady and he develop a love relationship, but they are ought to face more challenges from destiny.
