Plot Summary:After numerous failed attempts to commit suicide, our hero (Lloyd) runs into a lawyer who is looking for a stooge to stand in as a groom in order to secure an inheritance for his client (Davis). The inheritance is a house, which her scheming uncle "haunts" so that he can scare them off and claim the property.
看过这部短片后基本上可以确定，1927年的影片猫和金丝雀中那个四眼小哥不是长的像劳埃德而是在致敬哈罗德.劳埃德，那个角色和这部短片中劳埃德的角色基本上完全一样，故事也有几分相似。。。PS自杀怎么都不成功的桥段日后还会出现在劳埃德的其他影片中。。。
