Plot Summary:Medical students begin to explore the realm of near death experiences, hoping for insights. Each has their heart stopped and is revived. They begin having flashes of walking nightmares from their childhood, reflecting sins they committed or had committed against them. The experiences continue to intensify, and they begin to be physically beaten by their visions as they try and go deeper into the death experience to find a cure.

HBO中文台看的，一大堆凯文贝肯的电影，这是其一。当年对科幻电影的要求很低，什么都觉得好看。……本片的命题很有意思，死后的世界，虽然是胡编乱造，也是津津有味。……过了好多年，才知道，漂亮的女主是大嘴美女茱莉亚罗伯茨。
