Plot Summary:Sinbad and his crew intercept a homunculus carrying a golden tablet. Koura, the creator of the homunculus and practitioner of evil magic, wants the tablet back and pursues Sinbad. Meanwhile Sinbad meets the Vizier who has another part of the interlocking golden map, and they mount a quest across the seas to solve the riddle of the map, accompanied by a slave girl with a mysterious tattoo of an eye on her palm. They encounter strange beasts, tempests, and the dark interference of Koura along the way.

戈登·赫斯勒导演，雷哈里森豪做的定格动画特效。辛巴达是小时候的回忆，看过动画和电视剧，这部没有看过。本片剧情十分简单，但冒险片的要素基本都有，情节有点拖沓冗余。不过影片特效十分强大，尤其那个六臂佛陀和两个洞窟怪兽，都不敢想象70年代怎么拍的，真是大师级的。女主卡罗琳莫罗出演过007海底城。
50年前的特效相当酷炫
感动。神话的形式用定格动画表现很精彩，航海冒险家战胜邪恶的炼金术师，制作得直白又漂亮。
