Plot Summary:Tony and Felix own a tramp boat, and sail around the Caribbean doing odd jobs and drinking a lot. They agree to ferry the beautiful but passportless Irena to another island. They both fall for her, leading to betrayal and a break-up of their partnership. Tony takes a job on a cargo ship. After a collision he finds himself trapped below deck with time running out (the ship is aflame), and only Felix, whom he hates and has sworn to kill, left to save him.

One picture, double feature. 太奇葩了。本来Parrish是想直接先拍Lemmon被困在船里，然后闪回叙前情，但Columbia不同意，最后就成了这个样子。Mitchum跟Rita说的那句台词有点好笑，"I'm proud. I don't make love to the dead."
Hayworth老来风韵尤甚，跟哥伦比亚解除合约的官司打输后，三年里的第一部片子，不幸沦为大男人争风吃醋的情节工具。Mitchum留在加勒比海紧接着的Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison比这个好很多。
