Plot Summary:Photographer Charlie Hamilton James and his conservationist wife, Philippa Forrester, together with their three young children spend a year observing and conserving the wild life in and around the river at the bottom of their garden. Charlie wants to show that the drama of the wild life on a typical English country river is every bit as exciting as any he has ever filmed anywhere in the world!

什么时候我们老家外面的小河不是臭的，死的……如果不被污染被填埋，千湖之省内是完全有可能有这样的生境的。想想自己小时候，也在堤坝上摘过几次野葱和野芹菜做饭。可惜。
