Plot Summary:A young boy mourns the death of his father, and begins a quest to find his mother. He encounters many people on the way who quote Buddhist precepts: an eccentric monk, a girl who grows up into a young woman, a prison inmate, a foul-mouthed doctor and the young son of a hard drinking astronomer. Each of them tell the boy to seek someone to help him find the truth and his mother.

世界因失去自身而成为世界，天空因失去雨而变空，河流因失去河流而成为海，花朵因失去花朵而成为果实。如果你不能放下我执，你将无法摆脱愚蠢的欲望和痛苦。情节超现实，寓意深且远。
