Plot Summary:A young, naive heiress, in custody of a tough-minded feminist aunt, is forced into a 'marriage of convenience' with an unemployed cartoonist in an attempt to save her millions. However, in the course of her ostensibly married life, she learns the true meaning of marriage and the deep significance of being an Indian wife, much to the dismay of her aunt, who, in adherence to her wayward beliefs, has been trying to instill anti-male sentiment in her niece's ingenuous mind.
9 APR 2010 (4-) 可惜我並不熟悉寶來塢的發展源流。單以本片入門而言，優點是歌舞段落拍得很活，尤其是開場不久泳池邊的歌舞，推推拉拉左左右右都是拍MV的一流功夫。然而相比導演後來的顛峰之作，內容則顯得婆媽通俗，而歌舞跟劇情主線也稍嫌分割，未顯往後水乳交融的化境。
