Plot Summary:Amy, a young Georgia woman, is frazzled and exhausted as she endures endless exercise and beauty regimens in a desperate attempt to get ready for a date with new boyfriend Todd, a hot LA guy with a great smile and perfect six-pack abs. Her tortured efforts to impress Todd and measure up to the Hollywood ideal of beauty are interrupted by a breaking news story that says beer guts are the latest fashion accessory for men and an infomercial that sells prosthetic guts to guys who can't grow their own. Amy resents the double standard that demands perfection of women and OKs mediocrity in men. But she is excited for her date with Todd, who she is certain has been working just as hard to look great for her as she has been for him. Until he calls to cancel their date and tells her the gutless reason why.
