Plot Summary:This documentary discusses ten experimental towns that were designed to improve the lives of residents by design. Visionary architects, corporations and citizens, driven in part by ideology and in part profit, use the power of architecture, design and urban planning to create a new type community. Communities in St. Augustine, FL, Philadelphia, PA, Salt Lake City, UT, Riverside, IL, Pullman, IL, Greenbelt, MD, Levittown, NY, Southwest Washington, DC, Seaside, FL and Portland , OR's Pearl District are highlighted.
