Syrian director Hala Alaballa's film was initially intended to be a documentary

Plot Summary:A film about freedom of expression and repression filmed between 2010 and 2012 in Egypt and Syria. Syrian journalist and writer Samar Yazbek accompanies this film with her thoughts and feelings, from Damascus -during the months preceding the Syrian revolution- until her exile in France, five months after the outbreak of events.
